The Belter suddenly died infront of everyone and the RCE man who tried to drown him had a slug fall on his face upon which he suddenly died also. Murtry and Holden managed to stop him, however when the Belter is lifted from the pool several glowing slugs were on his face. When a RCE man is found dead one of RCE men grabs a Belter he believed had murdered him and tried to drown the Belter in a pool. Tensions were high inside the structure with RCE personal and Belters being hostile to one another.
Narrowly closing the entrance before the tsunami hit the humans sheltered inside until it was safe to exit again. With no hope of escaping the planet, Holden suggests that everyone evactuates to a nearby Ring Builder structure and seal the entrance once everyone was in. However, when the shuttle that was launched to land on the planet was destroyed by the moons which had activated a defensive state preventing any craft from entering atmosphere. In response to this the Belters and RCE began to evacuate the planet. This happened on a chain of islands and caused a huge tsunami that would destroy every human structure of the planet. On the far side of the planet a ancient reactor exploded causing a huge explosion. RCE tried to prevent her boarding the frigate but were stopped when one of the PDCs off the ship was activated. Later when the remaining Belters who had planted the bomb to murder the RCE personel were planning their next terrorist attack Murtry had their location bugged and laid an ambush killing all of them except for Lucia Mazur who fled to the Rocinante with Naomi. Unknown to all the Investigator was activating all the Ring Builder machines and structures across the world despite that all had been unused for thousands if not millions of years.Īfter a Belter threatens Murtry the RCE commander pulls his weapon and executes this Belter. Later a Ringbuilder tower begins moving towards First Landing causing Holden to destroy it with a missile from the Rocinante, the settlement is then struck by lighting which was striking in a straight line across the entire planet. Holden does so then leaves the structure before getting stuck inside. Upon reaching the structure the Investigator opened a doorway and showed Holden towards a root that had grown into the structure telling Holden to cut it off so that the structure can function. When the Investigator appears to Holden it asks him to travel to a Ring builder structure to fix it. Upon searching they discovered evidence of a bomb being the culprit.
At this point the sky blew in thousands of pieces of metal in the air hitting the settlement and injuring several people.Īmos and Murty travelled to the ruins of the landing pad that exploded destroying the heavy lift shuttle and killing many RCE personel to investigate it. The crew exited the frigate and proceeded to the settlement where upon reaching were greated by members of the RCE and Belter colonists. Upon reaching the planet the Rocinante landed by a cliff a walkable distance from First Landing. The United Nations responded by sending Captain James Holden of the Rocinante to intermediate between the factions. This immediately caused friction between the RCE personnel and Belters. Several Belters had placed a bomb on the pad killing the new RCE Governor and many personnel. The Edward Israel launched its heavy lift shuttle to a landing pad near the settlement, however it was destroyed when an explosion occurred on the pad. Īn Earth company Royal Charter Energy however, had already made a claim for the planet, and sent a ship Edward Israel to the colony to take control and prevent any further contamination by the Belters.
A ship that successfully ran the blockade Barbapiccola however entered the Ilus system and settled on Ilus IV. UN and MCR ships fired upon these ships knocking several out before entering the ring space and several more inside of it. Several Belter ships then after the slow zone incident attempted to run a Earth-Mars Coalition Navy blockade of the Ring space to attempt and reach one of the new worlds. They became refugees and could not often get a port which would accept them. After the devastation on Ganymede from the UN-MCR War many Belter inhabitance were forced to flee onboard ships.
