They went on to win the league's Guildhall Cup in 1978–79, before completing a Premier Division and cup double in 1980–81. In 1974 they merged with Walton-le-Dale, continuing in the Preston & District League.

Kelvin, an established Professional Polo Player, focuses on developing and playing his own string of polo ponies throughout the English Polo season. Kelvin is now based at Irongate Polo, based in Cirencester, Gloucestershire.
